Our solidarity impact in Nepal

Laprak village (4,000 inhabitants) was devastated by the April 2015 earthquake. Active Human Adventure has supported its reconstruction since 2016: homestays (direct income for families), trail rehabilitation, and funding for the village primary school. 10% of each trip goes directly to Laprak.

Frequently asked questions — Nepal

What fitness level is needed for the Annapurna trek?
An intermediate to sporty level is recommended. The Annapurna Circuit includes passes above 5,000m. We adapt the itinerary during the discovery call based on your fitness and goals.
Do I need a visa for Nepal?
Yes. A tourist visa can be obtained on arrival in Kathmandu or online at nepalimmigration.gov.np. We guide you through all administrative steps.
What is altitude sickness and how to prevent it?
Acute mountain sickness (AMS) can occur above 3,500m. Our certified high-altitude guides manage acclimatization progressively. An emergency descent protocol is in place throughout the route.
What is the accommodation like in Nepal?
We alternate between tea house lodges (run by local families) and homestays in Laprak. This is a complete immersion in daily Nepalese life.
What is the best season for Nepal?
October-November (post-monsoon, clear skies) and March-May (spring, rhododendrons in bloom) are ideal. We can organize trips year-round based on your availability.
