Our solidarity impact in Mongolia

10% of each trip is donated directly to the nomadic families we visit to help them through the harshest winters. Mongolia's nomadic communities face growing climate challenges — the "dzud" (brutal winter) regularly decimates herds.

Frequently asked questions — Mongolia

Is Mongolia accessible for travelers without adventure experience?
Yes, with good support. Our Mongolia trips include comfortable 4x4 transfers and accommodation in equipped yurts. No need to be a seasoned adventurer — just curious and open-minded.
Do I need a visa for Mongolia?
Yes. The Mongolian visa is applied for at the embassy before departure. Fees and processing times vary by nationality. We guide you through all the steps.
How does communication work with the nomads?
Our guides are bilingual (French/Mongolian or English/Mongolian). Batjargal, our local Altai guide, speaks fluent Kazakh and Mongolian and translates all encounters.
What is the Naadam Festival?
Naadam (July 11-13) is Mongolia's national holiday with wrestling, archery and horse racing competitions. It's a unique cultural spectacle. We organize special trips around this period.
What is the best time to visit Mongolia?
June to September offers the best weather conditions. July is ideal for Naadam. Avoid December-March (extreme winters down to -30°C on the plains).
