During this magnificent journey, you will discover a village in the high hills region of the northwest of the country: Laprak. This is made up of around 600 houses and 4000 inhabitants in total. In this village, different groups live there, including Gurung families: indigenous people from the hills and mountains of the Gandaki province in Nepal. And it is exactly this journey that will allow you to transform them and transform yourself.

In 2015, the picturesque village of Laprak was unfortunately hit by an earthquake. Infrastructure, houses, health post, school and other structures have been transformed into rubble. Due to the difficulty of reconstruction, the villagers moved to an altitude of 2700 meters in a temporary shelter.This is where you come in as an engaged traveler.

In this solidarity trip, you will support the village of Laprak thanks to your investment for this stay. Currently, only twelve water points and one “rudimentary” shower cabin are functional in this village. In addition, most people over the age of 40 suffer from asthma and other respiratory diseases.
